👿The Dark Years.
A long period when the land was dominated by dark beings. The demons gathered in a region called Uden. A huge dark tower had been built where these evil creatures gathered.
⚔️ War Of The Eternal Night .
It was a war against underworld demons. The only time that all the faerie realms came together for a cause. The fey kings in an unprecedented alliance with the elves and dwarves, defeated the evil beings. The black tower was destroyed. The demons were expelled and sent back from the hole from which they came, the entrance sealed by a strong magical barrier.
Uden is now a dark and desolate land. There is always a thick fog in the region and a lingering stench of death in the air. Even now, it is still sometimes possible to hear ghostly sounds of distant drums and the ghastly screams of creatures from afar. Imagination maybe?
✨ Victory Day celebration.
The origin story of the celebration had been passed down from father to son, and from mother to daughter. Centuries ago, there had been a great battle between Good and Evil. After many years of fighting with great losses on all sides (elves, faes and dwarves) , the heros had eventually emerged victorious from this mythical war.
The demons were expelled and sent back from the hole from which they came, the entrance sealed by a strong magical barrier. And thus it was recorded in the Glory Books of Elvenkind and Faekind.
Since those days of yore, the anniversary of this triumph of Good versus Evil has been celebrated.
